Hello and Welcome
I'm Emma, Im happily married to my best friend, whom I first met when I was 16.
From an early age I had an interest in Natural Health and Healing, Druidry, Myth, Magic anything unusual, out of the ordinary, so in my work and family life I have tended to follow the 'lesser trodden path'and this is my story :)
After leaving home and school at 15, I didnt really give myself the best start most people aim for, but after many years of learning the hard way, I'd say I got my S..t!! together by the age of about 25.
I became a self employed Holistic Health Therapist in 1994 which was great as it gave me the flexibility to work the hours that suited my family commitments. I loved being a therapist, offering Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Body Massage, Reiki and teaching Meditation.
In 2001 our youngest daughter Andrea was registered blind, it was a very traumatic time for all of our family. I choose to stop my therapy business and took Andrea out of school to home educate her, Though we had many tears and much heartache we all adapted to Andrea’s needs. Having the time and ability to spend a couple of years teaching her at home was Priceless !!! After 2 years of home educating we found and secured her a place in the best specialist RNIB school to meet her needs.
In 2006 we bought our 1st buy to let property, with a view to buy a few more in the hope that it would give us a residual income, which we achieved.
Having completed many re-furbs, and a few straight forward flips, in March 2016 we bought an old pub and converted it to 9 luxury apartments. The build took 18 months from the start of the project to doors being open for business. We are now pioneering the serviced accommodation concept in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
